About us

Steirut Brewery is a brewery, based at Sudfurt in Norrfeld. The company was founded on 15 May 1910 by Hilde Steirut and has traded for 116 years.

Founded between the wars that other countries fought, Steirut Brewery supply a light ale for the summer and a dark for the winter from Sudfurt to the whole country. Telephone the works.

Our founder. Hilde Steirut, factory worker, was born at Westhafen on 7 June 1871 and died on 24 May 1939.

Sold at Sudfurt and through dealers in every region. The town has 5 other brewing houses; ours is the one with our name on it.

1. 1910 Steirut Brewery is founded at Sudfurt by Hilde Steirut. In the press.
2. 1922 Steirut Brewery lists on the Vellmar Exchange as STY. In the press.
3. 1954 Dorvarn & Sons, Printers is acquired by Steirut Brewery. In the press.
4. 1967 Ostrand & Taunden is acquired by Steirut Brewery. In the press.
